Event Details
Last year, Comcast hosted our first Xplore conference to help our technologists discover proven methodologies and better understand what services and tools are already available for reuse globally. Our hope was to help build a stronger sense of community around our existing developer solutions and platforms and provide a space for our product owners to listen to our internal customers.
With over 2,500 participants globally last year across Sky, NBCUniversal, and Comcast, we are thrilled to host our second annual internal conference: Xplore 2024. And just like The Bride of Frankenstein, we expect the sequel event to be even bigger and more exciting than the first!
Xplore 2024 will be broadcast live from the Ralph J. Roberts Forum in the Comcast Technology Center in Philadelphia on October 9-10, but that’s not all! We’ll be hosting watch parties around the globe and plan to hold in-person events in the UK (Sky Central and Brick Lane), Scotland, Italy, Germany, the Comcast India Engineering Center (CIEC), Denver, and Orlando.
Designed to explore the vast horizons of cloud computing, data, AI, and developer experience, our theme this year is From Scattered to Scaled: The Centralization Effect.
During the conference, developers and technologists – just like you! – as well as leaders from across the company will share content focused on three tracks:
- Innovation: improving and centralizing workflows and collaboration across teams to create space for innovation
- Scale: handling larger workloads and supporting future growth through centralized management
- AI: integrating artificial intelligence with centralized platforms to enhance decision-making, automation, and predictive capabilities
Throughout the conference, attendees will be able to experience:
- Live, interactive workshops
- Talks from Comcast leaders and subject matter experts
- An Expo Hall experience with booths to learn more about the services/tools already available
